Travel Muse Company Inc.
Effective Date: February 2026
The purchase of travel planning services, travel products, or related services through Travel Muse Company Inc. (“Travel Muse Co.,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) constitutes an agreement between you (“Customer,” “you,” or “traveler”) and Travel Muse Company Inc. Please read these Terms carefully before booking or purchasing travel services, as they govern the relationship between you and Travel Muse Company Inc. and apply to all travelers included in your booking.
1. Role and Responsibility of Travel Muse Company Inc.
Travel Muse Company Inc. acts as an independent travel advisor and intermediary between you and third-party travel service providers, including but not limited to airlines, hotels, cruise lines, tour operators, transportation providers, insurance companies, and other suppliers (“Travel Suppliers”). Our role is to research, recommend, coordinate, and arrange travel services on your behalf and to assist you in securing reservations and managing travel logistics. Travel Muse Co. does not own, manage, operate, or control any Travel Supplier and is not responsible for their actions, omissions, service standards, or performance. All travel services are provided subject to the terms and conditions of the Travel Suppliers delivering those services.
2. Customer Responsibility
By using our services, you confirm that you are at least eighteen (18) years of age, possess the legal authority to enter into this agreement, and are authorized to act on behalf of all travelers included in the booking. You agree that all information you provide, including traveler details and documentation, is complete and accurate. You are responsible for ensuring that all travelers understand and comply with these Terms as well as all applicable supplier requirements, rules, and conditions.
3. Travel Documents
You are solely responsible for obtaining and carrying all required travel documentation, including passports, visas, entry permits, vaccination records, health documentation, and any other documents required by transportation carriers, government authorities, or destination countries. Many countries require passports to remain valid for at least six (6) months beyond the return date of travel. Additional documentation may be required for minors, permanent residents, or travelers with specific citizenship or residency status. Failure to obtain or present required documentation may result in denied boarding, refusal of entry, cancellation of travel services, or other losses for which Travel Muse Co. shall not be responsible. Possession of the required documentation does not guarantee entry into any country, as admission decisions are made solely by the relevant authorities.
4. Privacy and Confidentiality
Travel Muse Company Inc. respects your privacy and protects personal information in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy legislation. Personal information is collected only as necessary to plan, arrange, and manage your travel, process payments, communicate travel details, and coordinate services with Travel Suppliers. We do not sell or distribute personal information to unrelated third parties. However, in order to complete travel reservations and related transactions, we must share relevant personal information with Travel Suppliers, payment processors, and service providers involved in your booking. By providing personal information, you consent to its use and disclosure for these purposes.
5. Prices, Payments, and Professional Fees
All prices are quoted in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated and are based on information provided by Travel Suppliers. Prices and availability are not guaranteed until confirmed and paid and may change at any time prior to final payment. Travel Muse Company Inc. charges a professional planning fee for travel design and coordination services, which is separate from supplier costs and is non-refundable once planning services have commenced. By authorizing Travel Muse Co. to proceed with bookings, you authorize us to process payments on your behalf for approved travel services and applicable fees. Supplier deposits and payments may be non-refundable depending on supplier policies, and failure to make payments when due may result in cancellation of travel services and the application of supplier penalties and fees.
For Services booked through an Ontario-registered travel agency, the total price of the Services may be increased except if paid in full. If the cumulative increase, without taking into account any increase in the retail sales tax or the federal goods and services tax, is more than 7%, the Customer has the right to cancel the booking and obtain a full refund of the Services or opt for comparable alternate Services acceptable to the Customer, as long as the price of the alternate Services corresponds to the price of the original Services, otherwise the difference in price shall be borne by the Customer.
All requests to cancel or modify travel arrangements must be made through Travel Muse Company Inc. and are subject to the policies and penalties of the applicable Travel Suppliers. Additional service fees may apply for cancellations or changes processed by Travel Muse Co.
6. Travel Documents and Booking Confirmation
Following confirmation of your booking, you will receive an invoice and travel documentation. It is your responsibility to review all documents promptly and notify Travel Muse Co. immediately of any errors or discrepancies. Failure to do so may result in the issuance of incorrect travel documents, and Travel Muse Co. shall not be responsible for any resulting losses, penalties, or costs.
7. Travel Insurance
Travel Muse Company Inc. strongly recommends the purchase of comprehensive travel insurance, including coverage for trip cancellation, trip interruption, emergency medical care, and baggage loss or delay. Travel insurance decisions are the sole responsibility of the traveler, and Travel Muse Co. shall not be liable for losses that could have been covered by insurance or for costs incurred due to the absence of adequate insurance coverage.
8. Liability for Travel Services
Travel Muse Co. acts solely as an intermediary between you and Travel Suppliers and assumes no liability for the acts, omissions, negligence, or default of any Travel Supplier. We are not responsible for delays, schedule changes, cancellations, loss of enjoyment, inconvenience, injury, illness, property damage, or other losses arising from travel services. Standards of accommodations, services, and conditions at destinations outside Canada may differ from those to which travelers are accustomed. Images, descriptions, and travel information presented on our website or in marketing materials are for informational purposes only and do not form part of any contractual agreement.
9. Force Majeure
Travel Muse Company Inc. shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather, pandemics, government actions, travel advisories, war, civil unrest, transportation disruptions, labour disputes, or supplier insolvency. In such circumstances, refunds, credits, or alternative arrangements are governed solely by the policies of the Travel Suppliers involved.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Travel Muse Company Inc.’s liability for any claim arising out of the provision of travel advisory services shall be limited to the amount paid directly to Travel Muse Company Inc. for those services. Travel Muse Co. shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind.
